The only streaming service I respect is HBO Max because I remember being an 18-year old watching Mean Streets and it boldly recommended I follow it up with The Killing of a Chinese Bookie. I watched the two back-to-back late into the night, having no clue who Cassavetes was.

A monumental and formative memory. Loved every second of that movie and tried to get some of my friends to watch it again with me later that week. None were as impressed as me but that film struck a chord.
