We just wanted to gently remind you that we’re now halfway through Men’s Mental Health Month. You’ve probably seen the stats by now, but I want to take a moment to emphasise something important.
It’s okay not to be okay. It’s okay to feel overwhelmed, lost, or just not yourself sometimes. You don’t have to carry all your burdens alone. Remember, every single one of your friends would much rather have a genuine conversation with you, to listen, to support, to help lighten the load, than to find out you’ve been struggling in silence.
And for those of you who are feeling good right now, I want to remind you that you might not realise it, but there could be someone in your life who’s quietly hurting.
Someone who puts on a brave face every day, even when they’re struggling inside. Please, check in on your friends. Reach out to those who always seem to have it together, sometimes, they need it the most.
Let’s look out for each other. Let’s keep the conversation open, honest, and kind.
Because no one should have to face their battles alone.
Take care of yourselves and each other 💜
