SCHOOL CLOSURE. Due to the ongoing power outage affecting the whole village, both JRS and @ConistonSchool will be closed tomorrow, Mon 29th Nov. Once power is restored a number of safety checks need to be completed to ensure the safety of pupils and staff.

Today at work we have resurfaced the path on the old railway line where coniston station once was. FR1 and FR3 carted stone on dumpers as I raised the path because it used to stand a lot of water. @LakesRangers #LakeDistrict
