The Office for Environmental Protection @OfficeforEP has today ruled that all three public bodies involved in regulating the water industry @Defra, @Ofwat and @EnvAgency have acted illegally by not complying with sewage and environmental legislation. This is appalling from Morrisons. They seek kudos for their UK sourcing but then sneakily do this, undermining British farmers and undermining their own integrity and brand.

Another retailer letting down UK farmers. They take every opportunity to shout about UK sourcing policies and then stock beef under a tertiary brand which drives a coach & horses through corporate ‘British only’ claims. I thought @Morrisons were better than this type of hypocrisy

Incredibly sad to see this, the Wolverhampton reuse hub is having to close, if ever a venture deserved to succeed it was this, but despite all the rhetoric, despite all the good intentions, despite the powerful green lobby and the incessant hand wringing it hasn’t been able to.
