While many Michiganders were sleeping, more than 600 Consumers Energy crews were out restoring power across the state. Overnight, crews restored service to more than 50,000 customers following heavy rain, thunderstorms, flooding, and damaging winds. Thanks to steady progress, our crews have restored power to more than 66,000 of our nearly 90,000 neighbors impacted by yesterday’s severe storms. And our more than 400 crews in the field won't stop their work until everyone is back on. At the same time, our storm center is closely monitoring another round of weather expected this afternoon, including the potential for high winds and isolated tornadoes.
