Tomonari Nishikawa was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. To support the costs of his treatment, a fundraiser has been created with the collaboration of his wife Miki and his colleagues in the Cinema department at Binghamton University.

#BiennaleArte2024 Golden Lion for Best National Participation to the #AustraliaPavilion. “In this quietly powerful Pavilion, #ArchieMoore worked for months to hand-draw with chalk a monumental First Nations family tree. Thus 65,000 years of history (both recorded and lost) are inscribed on the dark walls as well as on the ceiling, asking viewers to fill in blanks and take in the inherent fragility of this mournful archive.”
