Even backlash from "woke" is being blamed on inauthentic diversity which they use to justify more diversity. By making the company more more diverse, it can reduce chances of coming off inauthentic or "tokenism", at least that is their justification.

Pay close attention 👀 This is actually an excellent example of how feminists bring their insecurities into projects and destroy nearly every aspect of entertainment. From character design, plot development, and overall team cohesion, they hinder and take away during the process until the project becomes mainly managing their emotions. In order for Shiftup to succeed, they HAD TO REMOVE people like this from their studio. They're extremely uncool & liabilities. The worst part is that they're completely unaware of themselves. This is so incredibly common. Hack localizers with DND Ren Faire brainrot unilaterally decided that "erm it's all medieval fantasy so that's how they would talk in English" for Japanese RPGs and they got away with it. They're shit writers and worse translators. Almost every JRPG suffers from this.

I call this the "Bayonetta Effect". The left will call something "problematic" because it's "sexist" or "fascist" or whatever, but when that fails to stop its cultural momentum, they switch to trying to claim it. Suddenly, "it was always woke". Just like how Bayonetta went from being a symbol of female objectification and male gaze to an empowering feminist icon, Frieren went from being fascist for revering the past and featuring an inherently evil race of demons to whatever this is.

Color theory is a real issue. I spoke on it 2 years ago and said the purple pink would be the first signs. Any addition of it was a clear indication that loser dei marketing teams are still in control. They do it intentionally across everything so they can signal their infection. Masculine titles get a touch of it if not completely converted. Logos adjusted. Backgrounds all ambiguously floating those colors. Color marketing has always been a thing. Its out of place and when you see it, you cant unsee it. But it saves you money.
