I miss taking photos at Wrigley. But I was glad the @Cubs allowed cameras during the Anthony Rizzo era. Just the best time to ever be a Cubs fan. More from a thread of Rizzo photos I took at Wrigley. #behereforit  #gocubsgo #rizzo 5/5

My understanding of the fire at the County Building right now is it started on floor 3 1/2 where a lot of historical records exist.

I, too, agree with myself.
I agree with me. These like the County contest had too many entries using city’s 6 pt star. A LOT of navy blue. Seeing designs in diff combos might help: red/black, gold/blue. If stuck on 21, use the blue field from the US flag in 1819 as the whole flag.

Had a role in the @cookcountygov flag contest, my thoughts: too much blue, too many straight horizontal lines, butterfly should add monarch detail (most potential), too much Chi star, stop separating Chi from state. More creativity on symbolism pls

Hearing that former @CookCountyBoard President Richard Phelan passed away. The first @cookcountygov President I worked for back in 1993. Condolences to all family, friends and my former co-workers of the time.

These are the last lines of the last speech ever typed for President Kennedy, intended for remarks on November 22, 1963 at the Democratic State Committee in Austin, Texas. The speech: jfklibrary.org/asset-viewer/…

The day after President John F. Kennedy is assassinated, the @CookCountyBoard assembled for a Special Meeting in memoriam. These were Journal of Proceedings for that meeting. @JFKLibrary @cookcountygov @CookCoArchives #JFK

You know what would be cool? If @ILSecOfState added to their specialty plate program selling retro versions of Illinois plates. The designs and colorways are great alternatives to the overdone version currently in use.

City of Evanston having a flag redesign contest for students. Sounds familiar! Hope they also get a great result! cityofevanston.org/Home/Comp…

On this day in 1967, the Picasso statue was dedicated on what was Civic Center (now Daley) Plaza in Chicago. In January 2015, the Ernie Banks statue shared the plaza in memory of the #Cubs Hall of Famer.

Replying to @cbschicago
You need to take this down and repost. This has nothing to do with @cookcountygov

Two years ago today, I retired from @cookcountygov. From my favorite day at work in 2017: the @cubs World Series trophy sat next to me for a whole day of @CookCountyBoard meetings. @johnfritchey
