Am I missing something here, apologising to Epstein’s victims, what about Britain’s rape gang victims? Do they not deserve more from Starmer’s government and London Mayor?

PM just gave a speech to this room and was applauded for it as he directly said ‘I’m sorry’ to victims of Epstein for believing Mandelson’s lies and appointing him. He was angry and clearly knows the predicament he’s in. That was a survival speech and seemed to me an appeal to his party as he made the case to stay in post.

Sad end to a great club. I may have to talk to the wife again on Saturday nights with no reports to write. Fell the most for all those volunteers, especially @Cookschair and @JonWright11 who have put their heart and soul into the club only to be **** on from a great height.
