The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

lmao. Facebook’s down because…
*drumroll*
… they didn’t lint the program that sends its json, and now its malformed.
Another classic from the golden age of AI slop code.
my god. it actually works
(note that 'extend' and 'reframe' will be disabled if the metadata indicates that it's a screenshot, so doing something like uploading and then downloading it from discord would work)
like in the video, it always extends the top and bottom of the screenshot, and so it's not ideal to use as a way to frame your screenshot with a device frame anyway
New Siri on macOS seems to not be able to get the battery level from the system itself or bluetooth paired & connected devices ("Sorry, I can't do that."). Meanwhile on iOS, it's no problem. That's.. interesting.
It looks like two weeks ago the Keychron Link (Dongle Receiver) d.3.1 update was released, but Keychron Launcher says that there’s no update available. The JSON response doesn’t detail the changes, nor do the official firmware flashing instructions (which have release notes).
New Siri is able to summarize web pages in full, as long as you prompt it in a very specific way (otherwise, it’ll just do a screenshot and take information from that instead).
It’s possible that this might be an issue of its own, as a user who expects a summary of some sort from a web page would also expect that LLM to actually check the entire web page anyway rather than taking a screenshot of what’s currently in view and solely going by that instead.
iOS 27.0 Dev Beta 1 Calendar app allows adding more than two alerts, just like it’s been in the macOS Calendar. Limited by the number of options in the alert dropdown.
(Before, you could have more than two, but you needed to do this in macOS’s Calendar.)
an improvement noticed on watchOS 27 dev beta 1: the ‘find my’ apps are now one unified app, and it offers precision find options — no longer need to use the control center to precision find.
