The maps passed by Tennessee Republicans are absurd. By carving up Nashville they make it nearly impossible for voters to fairly elect representatives of their choosing—their standard attempt to deliver illegitimate political power to the Republican Party for the next decade.

Gerrymandering Nashville is an insult to all Nashvillians and likely to backfire on the Republican Party. It’s not conservative to split a county that’s been whole for 240 years.
