Our officers are having a fantastic time creating a community forest with school children at Rosebank, Hensingham, today.
Around 400 trees will be planted as part of a programme to create up to 150 hectares of woodland across Cumbria.

We will be doing a spot of painting, as well as gardening, on Saturday (March 4) at Distington Walled Garden.
Volunteers are welcome to come along from 10am – 12 noon to help us paint arches in preparation for our fruit trees and do some general pruning of the garden.
