Last nights AFL Draft of 20 odd picks was a perfect exercise in time wasting , an interesting 1 hour was turned into a 3 hour snoozefest , us 100 K who watched must need to get a life !

Interesting that despite MWade's numbers, no appearance in a 14-man squad, nor was he mentioned in the "unlucky-to-miss-out" blurb. I wonder if he has been tainted by being in the past a wicketkeeper first, and a batsman second? If so, it doesn't recognise his skill as a batsman.

Geelong were smart enough to scout and then recruit Tim Kelly and Tom Stewart so why in the future should they be denied access to these sort of players? List management and recruitment is an art. Get it wrong and you pay the price. The solution shouldn't be handouts

Understand plans for TSL to be released today by Trisha Squires ahead of greater plans for Tasmanian football tomorrow. TSL clubs to receive $110k per year until 2023 but have to meet KPIs. Valuable bus subsidy reduced. Some clubs not happy following AFL's two-card trick.
