I put him in the Travelodge on the A10 for 2 weeks until I can find him a room in a housing association. I knew the staff so this was possible. He was scared, cold, wet, and starving when I picked him up. He cried for hours. Anyhow we looked after him and now he's doing a degree in engineering. It was not a lifestyle choice for him. And I'm sure he'd be more than happy to educate you on this.

Sad to receive the news of Terry Hall’s passing last night from Lynval Golding. Terry’s voice was the perfect instrument for the true and necessary songs on “The Specials”. That honesty is heard in so many of his songs in joy and sorrow. My condolences to his family and friends.
