Don't worry 'Pronunciation' spelled as 'Pronunciation', I got you.
I've always been a fan of the truncated vowel syllable.

Not sure of the terminology but the truncated syllable (would this be considered a conjugation?) I'm fairly certain was there to make pronunciation easier and the sounding of the word flow better.
