Are we going for the out in public #MaskUpNowChallenge or the working on a #covid19 unit version? They are slightly different looks, but all designed to protect others.

This will go down as one of the coolest random things I have been a part of for the last 5 years.
Happy Friday #UglyDogs The #Iditarod is almost over and with the passing of the Red Lantern so will the @igiveard come to an end for 2024. We are sitting at a whopping $23,313, which includes $13,196 raised for rural Alaskan schools. Thank you to everyone who has donated,,,

It's been intense watching the Iditarod this year, so much drama. Super exciting cheering on all the women who have rocked the trail. I finished my @igivearod donations this morning, but another of my @DonorsChoose is expiring soon. donorschoose.org/project/a-p…
Less than 24 hours for all the mushers into Nome!

As I stress watched the Iditarod (what have the last two days been anyway?!?) I searched for my @DonorsChoose classrooms for this year's @igivearod . donorschoose.org/project/123… This one needs filled by the weekend, think we can finish it? It has a match going on! #uglydogs
#igivearod has reached over $1000 on donations already for teachers in rural Alaska schools through @DonorsChoose ! There’s plenty of time left to contribute as we continue to follow the trackybois as the #iditarod mushers make their way down the trail.

The top shelf of every bookcase I have ever owned is reserved for my favorite author, which means it has been reserved for Julie Garwood for the past 20ish years. She helped me fall in love with historical romance, and definitely all things

Lairds and Chieftains and Scottish castles and highlanders 😍. I've collected those books from Goodwill's, garage sales, and library sales, and they have all been read over and over. I found out today she has died. I hope she knew how much joy and light she brought to the world.

Hey @LibbyApp , why am I still having to go into my (old, y'all keep telling me not to use it) overdrive app to recommend my library buy titles? Is that feature coming to Libby anytime soon? Being first in line to check out a book is fun!

One pathetic dog with some sort of virus, a whole slew of medications, and a heartfelt desire to never be fit into the vet at the end of office surgery day again (grateful they got us in but we did not enjoy the chaos of all the people coming to pick up all the unhappy friends).

Apparently there is a respiratory visit going around the doggy daycare world. All the local vets are seeing it, and it's taking forever to go away, and sometimes settling into hard to treat pneumonia. Abe isn't that sick, hopefully we don't get there.

Abe and I are sending a (sleepy) AWOOOOOOOOOOO out to the sky for Refried, of our favorite BraverMountain dogsled team, who loved to sing and run and who's running in the sky now. #uglydogs
Anyone care to join me at 10pm EST (9 CST/7 PST/3am GMT) to AWOOOOOOOO for our dear friend Refried and all the other frens who crossed the rainbow bridge this year? Cc: @MaeNena73 @mac_b5 @sasshole @DwayneFuhlhage

Have you ever seen such a pathetic dog. Such a sad sad face. Obviously neglected. Never loved. Didn't just get all the pets and treats and half my cake. Boo scrubs. We don't like flu/covid/rsv season and all the extra shifts. We don't like it at all.

We went to a new park. I wish it wasn't two hours from home, he was made to live among giant trees.

Kansas, please let us keep our governor 🙏
Kansans prosper when leaders put politics aside to do what’s best for Kansans. That's how I've governed, and it's how I'll continue to lead. It's that simple.

Things people don't want to acknowledge

Hmm yes this sums it up exactly
it’s a lot of “my coworkers are all quitting because this job sucks and now there’s no staff and too many patients and people are already dying from lack of care” with a touch of “how the f is the system going to financially cope with the strain that covid is putting on it???”
