Social inequalities in survival heavily influence who reaches retirement age. In one of our latest papers @CPop_SDU, we show that under the current pension indexation, low-income individuals remain significantly disadvantaged compared to other groups

Indexing retirement age to life expectancy has diverging effects across SES groups in 🇩🇰🇸🇪
It prevents the low-SES from catching up with others in survival to retirement while reducing life expectancy at retirement more for the high-SES 🔎
