One year ago today was MKNJ #1, the start of a series of offline tournaments that celebrate and embrace the NRS scene and Mortal Kombat. I can't wait to run more events, and to see all the new and familiar faces participating and showing support, for the love of it.

15 years ago NetherRealm Studios released Mortal Kombat 9. The game inspired me to run consistent locals. Many sequels (and an Injustice franchise) later, bringing people together to play games I love is still what I want my events to be about.
