Units were dispatched at 4:01pm, the first units at the scene reported two houses involved in the fire and the Battalion Chief added a second alarm. There are currently no reported injuries to civilians or firefighters and the cause is under investigation.

Yesterday, Cosumnes Fire units responded to a reported structure fire on Rio De Onar way. Crews initiated interior fire attack, and stabilized the incident within minutes after arrival. There were no reports of injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Structure fire was dispatched at 12:25, first arriving engine and BC were on scene within 5 minutes. There was a mistaken report of multiple victims inside and the incident commander appropriately added a second alarm. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.

Cosumnes Fire units are assisting Woodbridge Fire with a water rescue incident along Dry Creek near the county line and Lincoln Way south of Galt.
