This weekend, our superhero supporter, Tez, is challenging himself to a 24-hour-long duathlon in aid of Cots for Tots. 🏆🩷
Tez will alternate between playing an hour of table tennis and running an hour of laps around @Gloscricket – with only five-minute breaks in between! 🏓

The inspiration behind all this fundraising is Tez’s friends, Emily and Dan, whose baby, Lily, passed away at just four weeks old.

Last week, premature babies and their families celebrated Kangaroo Care Awareness Day. 🦘🩷
This day promotes Kangaroo Care – or skin-to-skin contact - between sick babies and their parents.

Thanks to your kind donations, we gifted kangaroo-themed books and cards to families on St Michael’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
We hope that NICU families enjoyed their gifts and took part in some kangaroo care with their little ones. 🫂

After Rebecca’s baby, Reid, had a heart attack, she was terrified to hear that he needed to be rushed from Gloucester to St Michael’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Bristol. 🏥
Reid had gone 40 minutes without oxygen and was in an extremely fragile condition.

But as soon as Rebecca met the Southwest Neonatal Advice and Retrieval Service (SoNAR), who blue-lighted Reid to Bristol, they set her mind at ease.
Rebecca explained how this calm, kind and attentive team helped her family navigate the most difficult day of their lives. 🩷
