But seriously. Lack of sleep should not be a way to “prove yourself” in the film industry. It should not be a badge to be earned. It is archaic. And it should be fixed.

While we’re on the subject of improving the film industry… enough with 15 hour camera days!
Make 10-hour days (“French hours” as they call it) standard!
Let crew sleep again! The film industry is littered with the nameless who fell asleep at the wheel on the drive home.

Drew Goddard absolutely killed it. He deserves an Oscar for that perfect adaptation. So true to the tone, story and characters in the book! Laughed and cried a lot. Expect this Film to get some academy attention next year for Ryan Gosling and VFX too.
