Apollo and Trucy investigate the clinic. Not only is the office a wreck, the safe contains some incriminating evidence. They turn to Eldoon's medical expertise to determine Wocky's condition, but what about Alita's involvement?
Court resumes. After a reaction from his bracelet, Apollo "perceives" Stickler's habit during his statement, revealing him as the panty thief! In turn, this creates a discrepancy in the victim's cause of death. Court proceedings end for the day for further investigation.
Wocky's trial begins. Prosecutor Klavier Gavin rocks the courtroom with his presence. The court hears Wocky's motive and witness testimony from an Ivy U student. Apollo struggles, but then a mysterious figure threatens Trucy's life and calls for a recess?!
Apollo has quite the first day of investigation. Luckily, or unluckily, he's got a client for a real case! Not too soon after, he even meets the prosecutor, unbeknownst to him.
Apollo sees Phoenix at the Hickfield Clinic, where he has been hospitalized after being flung 30 feet in the air by a speeding car. And yet, Phoenix's injury is merely a sprained ankle.
