and thatโs perfectly fine. there were definitely a lot of evenings, especially with cooper, where i was exactly the same.
So, I'm just skipping straight to a bottle of wine on the porch. This child is psyched up and not coming down from her high any time soon.

โฆ and if all else fails, itโs perfectly acceptable to take ten minutes outside with a (very) large glass of wine.
god knows i did that enough times, especially through the teething stage.
