The only thing better than ‘Bad’ by U2 is seeing U2 do it live. Been lucky enough to see them do it a few times. Absolutely amazing

The extraordinary story of Andy “Guck” Rowen, a Dublin man whose life was shaped by violence, trauma, addiction, but also by incredible resilience. His journey would inspire three U2 songs, including the classic anthem 'Bad'. Bad: The Song That Saved My Life, tonight at 9.35pm | @rteplayer | #badthesongthatsavedmylife

There’s hope for me with Hayley McQueen yet.
Ruben Amorim has been confirmed as AC Milan’s new head coach. 🚨🇭🇹 “WE DESERVE ANSWERS” — HAITI CAPTAIN JOHNNY PLACIDE QUESTIONS OFFICIATING AFTER SCOTLAND DEFEAT 🗣️ Johnny Placide: “This is not about making excuses. Scotland played their game and got the result, and we respect them for that. But at the same time, we cannot ignore what happened on the pitch.” “There were two moments that, from where we stood, looked like clear penalties. We waited for VAR to intervene, we waited for explanations, but nothing came. As players, we dedicate our lives to this competition, so naturally we want clarity.” “All we are asking for is transparency. If those incidents were not penalties, then tell us why. Show us the reasoning. Let the fans understand the decision-making process. Football is the biggest sport in the world and accountability should be part of it.” 💔 “The dressing room was silent after the final whistle. Many players felt heartbroken because we believed we had done enough to get something from the match. Moments like these can change games, especially at a World Cup where every point matters.” 🇭🇹 “Haiti may not be one of the traditional giants of world football, but our players, our supporters and our nation deserve the same respect as everyone else. We are proud to represent our country and we simply want fairness.” The comments have sparked widespread debate among supporters, with many Haiti fans demanding greater transparency from officials following the controversial defeat to Scotlan.

One is arguably the best player ever to play the game and the other is Lionel Messi.

Best part about McFadden on co-comms is he just loves football. He’s as pumped for Scotland at the World Cup as he will be in two months time for Arbroath-Stenhousemuir on a Friday night.

A photographer was tragically crushed when a massive block of cheddar fell on him. In fairness, the people he was photographing tried to warn him.

On the timings issue, it’s not just the *actual* times, but the gaps. Why couldn’t it be Qatar v Switzerland 8pm, as is, Brazil v Morocco 10pm, hour earlier than it is, and Scotland v Haiti at midnight, 2 hours earlier than it is? It’s not just the specific times but the gaps.

Bumped into John McGinn at 8am, off for his matchday morning stroll around Boston. His words of wisdom: “Long day ahead. Take it easy, lads.” My words of wisdom: “Go and fucking pump them.” 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
