A sound engineer, and to be fair I'm not bad at it. I love what I do & slowly trying to change the industry to make it as it should be.

Really @mrjamesob, I’m listening to PMQ’s. I cannot believe these people “run” this country! They behave like children shouting across a playground at each other. How can this be ok? I’m ashamed of what it’s become and the country I live in.

Musicians like David Bowie could disappear unless EU touring issues are solved, MPs have heard. MPs have debated enabling visa and permit-free working for musicians in the EU after Brexit. gbnews.uk/news/brexit-musici…

Really looking forward to this one.
Phew! Sharply dressed bastions of the musical party @hopeandsocial have found a little gap in their autumn tour to reschedule our show to! Tickets back on sale, can't wait >> thecrescentyork.com

So @mrjamesob I’m working in a bathroom where there is a dead Bee on the window bottom and an older razor that I’ve found under the floor. I’m happy to shave the bee and see what’s underneath. Should I use shaving foam?

Labels shoulder the risk to break artists with non-returnable advances and substantial additional investment to fund recordings, videos & marketing. Labels bear those costs even if the artist doesn’t succeed commercially. Read more: bit.ly/3oYawYY

Hey, musicians who spent 10 years training for free to get good enough to have a career which now employs others & positively feeds collective wellbeing; remember when people told you to get a ‘real job’? Those people lack a basic understanding of a life well lived.

And what a gig it was! Thank you so much @hopeandsocial . The best live-streamed gig and mix most of us have seen all summer. #GBWildAtHome

Hi @Morrisons just been into the Elland store. Same on the way in and on the way out. It seems the cardboard cut out security guy is paying more attention than the real one!! #Vpoor.

The President says the “1917 pandemic” ended the Second World War
Following the rules for performers on stage that have been laid out, 3m min, between anyone that’s singing into a microphone or blowing into an instrument. I cannot see how anyone can be out playing gigs yet!! The stupidity of it
Another amazing soul I’ve had the upmost pleasure in working with. The industry is going to die if something isn’t done soon. Yes it may recover again, but not quickly and probably nowhere near as good as it was. #LetTheMusicPlay
Fun fact: the main reason I got in to music was because I wanted to perform. I honestly don’t know that I would write/create if I couldn’t perform. The live music industry and everyone within it is hurting right now and are in need of support. #letthemusicplay
