Repost and reply for a chance to win this autographed Paul Skenes @Topps card!

Paul Skenes turns 24 today! Last year, Skenes became only the third pitcher to win the Rookie of the Year and Cy Young within the first two seasons of his career, following: Fernando Valenzuela (ROY & Cy Young 1981) Dwight Gooden (ROY 1984, Cy Young 1985)

Still no comment or explanation from the governor, but this is what House Republican Leader Terry Kilgore has to say about the firing of VT’s rector:
Gov. Spanberger has fired the rector of Virginia Tech's Board of Visitors. This comes after President Tim Sands announced last month that he would be stepping down from his position.

Richard Childress Racing has elected to suspend use of the No. 8 and will run the No. 33 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and beyond. Kyle Busch was instrumental in the design of RCR’s stylized No. 8 and it has become synonymous with Kyle and an important symbol for his fans and the NASCAR industry. No one can carry it forward to the level that he did. The No. 8 is reserved and ready for Brexton Busch when he is ready to go NASCAR racing.

Tell me you don’t understand how any of this works without telling me you don’t know how any of it works.
The Supreme Court of the United States has now joined the Supreme Court of Virginia in choosing to nullify an election and the votes of more than three million Virginians. These Virginians made their voices heard — casting their ballots in good faith to push back against a President who said he’s “entitled” to more seats in Congress before voters go to the polls. As Governor, I will make sure voters know when and how to cast their votes this year. Because our votes are how we choose the representation we deserve.

Sen. @MarkWarner, a friendly reminder: Justice Kelsey who just authored the VA Supreme Court decision striking down Democrats’ illegal gerrymandering attempt was appointed by you to the Court of Appeals. Then elevated unanimously by the General Assembly—every Democrat voted for him, including Sen. Louise Lucas!

Dear Virginia Voters, The Democrats, under the leadership of Abigail Spanberger, broke Virginia law with their special election. Not Texas law. Not Louisiana law. Virginia law. They knew they were breaking the law. And now they're gaslighting you. Stop the pearl clutching.

Many of you on the left are commenting that the decision was 4-3, as if the math somehow changes what actually happened. Four Justices on the Virginia Supreme Court canceled the votes of every person who voted “yes.” All the money. All the effort. Cancelled. I know it is easy to blame the Court for what happened today. But here is the absolute truth: The Virginia Democrats broke the law. They did it openly, blatantly, and with complete disregard for the consequences. They believed they were untouchable because they controlled the executive branch and the legislative branch. The acted like mob bosses with no accountability. But in a government with checks and balances - the Courts always have the final say. Your vote was not canceled because four justices woke up and decided to invalidate an election. Your vote was canceled because Virginia Democrats put the Court in a position where the law required intervention. You should absolutely be angry that your vote was taken away. But be angry at the people who ignored the law and caused this mess in the first place. If Democrats had simply followed the Constitution and done it correctly, none of this would have happened.

The Virginia Supreme Court's decision to block a redistricting referendum that Virginians voted for is part of a broader national assault on our democratic institutions — and it should concern everyone who believes in free and fair elections.

Unlike GOP-led states that redrew their congressional maps in backroom deals, Virginia let the people decide. But the Virginia Supreme Court has blocked the people’s choice. So we have to campaign and win on their maps. We can do it!

Here’s the deal: Abigail Spanberger, Don Scott, Louise Lucas and all their friends knowingly violated the Virginia Constitution. They purposefully violated clear constitutional procedures to deceive voters, capping off their master deception with ballot language meant to confuse everyone. They strongly argued for the VA Supreme Court to “wait” until after the referendum so their flood of money from national democrats could fund their brazen dishonesty and trick voters to “restore fairness”, and then claim “the will of the people” when the VA Supreme Court would undoubtedly strike down their unconstitutional attempt to disenfranchise millions of Virginians. It’s a disgusting disregard for Virginians, the Constitution and a flagrant violation of their oath of office.

Since Virginia won't let voters decide, Governor @SpanbergerForVA should follow the lead of Texas, Florida, and Tennessee and just impose the new map on the state.
