Our school's annual House Cross Country event is always a highlight of the year, bringing together pupils from all Forms to compete in a fun yet challenging race. On Monday we welcomed Seaford College to our first prep school gala this term.Β  The CPS team was one of our largest to compete with 33 students ages U10’s – U13’s, separate Girls & Boys 50m categories all vying to set new personal best times. Today, we bid farewell to our esteemed Headmaster, Neil Brooks, and his wife Tracy. As a heartfelt tribute the children presented them with a stunning, collaborative picture, made up of individual squares designed by every pupil currently at the school 😊

Lower School Celebrations heralded the start of Christmas. In the Chapel, festive jumpers & hats met our eyes as the Form 2 pupils recited amusing poems & sang carols. Β  Form 1’s Nativity β€˜The INNspectors’ had us laughing & crying in equal measure as the Christmas story unfolded.

Over the weekend 3 Cranleigh Prep boys representing Guildford Hockey Club competed in the prestigious RC Polo international hockey tournament in Barcelona. Congratulations also goes to Olivia P, in Form 5 whose team came 4th overall πŸ‘

Monday saw our Fives team head off to Eton for the annual 4-School event where Cranleigh got to take Sunningdale, Ludgrove and Summerfields.   A 2nd place finish ranks as our best performance for many years.   Congratulations to our team 😊
