Father, we come before you as stewards, not owners. Everything we hold passed through your hand before it ever reached ours, and we acknowledge that clearly today.
Grant us the discerning heart that Solomon asked for, not so we can accumulate beyond our needs, but so we can build something that genuinely lasts beyond our lifetimes.
Deliver us from haste, from the fear that buries what you have given us, and from the quiet self deception we carry into every financial decision while calling it in the places where we have wasted what was entrusted to us, scattered provision on things that will never compound into anything lasting or chosen comfort over the harder obedience of building for those who come after us.
Meet us there with restoration that only you can give. Let every decision we make from this day forward become a brick in a foundation our children’s children will stand on firmly without having to rebuild from the ground up.
We do not ask for ease. We ask for alignment. And from alignment, Lord, let everything necessary come in its proper time.
