Day 1 of trying to be consistent… again😶‍🌫️

Splash is the entry moment that sets the tone for an app, often appearing the first time it launches or during loading. I'm someone who loves a good splash screen. But building it with animation and motion requires good tools, good knowledge as well. What tools and practices do you guys use to generate a pretty splash screen for your app?

Empty State is a pattern that appears when there is no content to display, guiding users on what to do next. It transforms a moment of absence into an opportunity for clarity, providing instructions, encouragement, or actions that help users move forward. The strength of an empty state lies in its ability to turn a blank screen into a purposeful interaction.

I guess this is the final nail in the coffin. This just convinces me to move away from @claudeai now since I have been a pro user for so long. Tbh, I'm tired of their shit. Last week, I had to do so much extra work on a rather finished app thanks to Opus being dumb and messing up my work, creating more problems. And then their credit running out to fix the same issue. It's just frustrating at this point. I bought myself a Codex plus subscription. I will stick with it in the future as well until @claudeai gets their shit together.

Something interesting happened today. I gave Claude Code a clear cut prompt to edit the Login modal for my app. I generated the prompt using codex with clear instructions and hit the same in Claude Code. To my surprise, it made an entirely different change altogether, in a different part of the app. The model I was using for the task was Sonnet 4.6 with Max effort. All this just tells me that my assumptions are true. The models have become a lot dumber than they used to be. I had noticed it before but this just cements it. I don't know what's going on with @AnthropicAI but they gotta get their shit together. Less usage limits and dumber models is really hard to deal with while working. I hope you fix Claude and make it the way it was in it's glory days.

I had a great start to my day! Watched the Play-In NBA game between Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers. I'm a huge Warriors Fan! The Warriors, entering today's match-up had no chance of beating the Clippers. No momentum, Injury ridden season, less bodies to fight. But they overcome everything and won this match!! It was such a great game . And there is a lesson from this that I learnt today. No matter what the circumstance, keep trying, keep persisting, keep believing in yourself. As they say fortune favors the brave and this is a prime example of how magical it can be when we keep trying and believe in ourselves 😁
