It was today declared at the #methodistconf that a split infinitive was included in a report of the Conference. I wonder how @MethodistGB will make up for this traumatic event in the lives of the grammatically sensitive individuals, such as myself, in the audience...

As the author of the 2022 NoM, I am thankful to the #methodistconf, the F&O Committee, and the JDS committee for the work done so far. The dissolving of the 1977 statement is a huge step forward for the church, and I look forward to next years vote. methodist.org.uk/about/struc…
