EDMONTON, AB — Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a child victim allegedly sexually assaulted in the Edmonton area between 2017 and 2019. Investigators say the victim was a girl believed to be between six and eight years old at the time of the alleged offences. Simon Lacoursiere, 40, has been charged with: ❌ Sexual Assault ❌ Sexual Interference ❌ Distributing Child Sexual Abuse Material ❌ Distributing Obscene Material ❌ Bestiality Police say forensic analysis of devices seized from Lacoursiere's home allegedly uncovered evidence involving two young Alberta girls. CALEDON, ON — Police are searching for a man in connection with an alleged sexual assault during the RBC Canadian Open at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley. Investigators say a worker conducting crowd control near Hole 5 was allegedly touched inappropriately by an unknown man who was reportedly being disruptive. The suspect left the area before police arrived. No charges have been laid and the man has not been identified. Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has video footage to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers.

CALGARY, AB — Police have released a composite sketch of a suspect believed to be connected to at least three alleged sexual assaults in Fish Creek Park between April 20 and May 23. Investigators say the incidents occurred near Sue Higgins Bridge and Mallard Point, where women reported being touched over their clothing. The suspect has not been identified or charged. Police say victims ranged in age from 12 to 73, and in some incidents the suspect allegedly chased people while carrying a hammer. HAMILTON, ON — A high-risk registered sex offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant has been arrested after Halton police located his vehicle at LaSalle Park in Burlington. Christopher Watts had allegedly been unlawfully at large since escaping from a Montreal halfway house on June 4. Christopher Watts, 66, was arrested on a Canada-wide warrant for: ❌ Breaching Long-Term Supervision Conditions Police say Watts was taken into custody in Hamilton on June 9 after officers conducted surveillance on his vehicle.
