This looks wonderful Sir James, happy 68th and I'll be grabbing my copy for sure 🔥🫶😎
Today is a special day for several reasons.
It’s my 68th birthday.
It’s also the 161st birthday of the great Irish poet W. B. Yeats.
And after many months of writing, editing, revising, and reflecting, I’m delighted to announce the publication of my newest book, The Kindness & Gratitude Effect.
This book is quite different from my previous books. It isn’t a photography book.
Instead, it’s a look at the philosophy that has shaped my life, my art, and my personal motto: See Beauty Everywhere.
Over 336 pages, I explore a simple idea: that kindness and gratitude have the power to change how we experience our lives and how we influence the world around us.
I don’t claim to have mastered either one.
Like everyone else, I get caught up in the noise, frustrations, and distractions of modern life. Some days I do better than others. But kindness and gratitude remain values I strive toward every day, and this book is the result of that ongoing journey.
If you’ve followed my work over the years, you know that much of my photography and art has been an invitation to slow down, notice beauty, gain perspective, and appreciate the world around us. This book explores the thinking behind those images and the lessons I’ve learned along the way.
To celebrate the launch, the Kindle ebook edition is available as a complimentary download on Amazon today and tomorrow, June 13 and 14.
The book is also available in ebook, audiobook, paperback, and hardcover editions.
If the message resonates with you, I’d be honoured if you would download a copy. And if you find it meaningful, I hope you’ll consider leaving a review on Amazon. Reviews help other readers discover the book and help spread a message that I believe the world could use a little more of right now.
Thank you for following my work, supporting my journey, and allowing me to share this one with you.

James
