I had to look up what Khalistani's meant.
Another obscure group practicing the politics of a far distant land on British soil. Every immigrant brings the politics of their home to play out on our streets.
Khalistanis are supporters of Khalistan: a proposed independent Sikh homeland carved out of the Punjab region, spanning parts of present-day India and Pakistan.
The name comes from Khalsa (the Sikh brotherhood) stan (Persian for "land") literally "Land of the Pure/Khalsa."

The world should not forget, and certainly should not forgive.
For years, Canada chose to disproportionately patronise extremist Khalistani networks for political convenience and geopolitical point-scoring against India.
The warnings were dismissed, the radicals excused, and the threat underestimated.
India bore the consequences first. The West is incrementally discovering them now.
When you legitimise extremists because they target your adversaries, don't act surprised when they eventually target you. Verdict on appeasement has never changed.
23 June 1985, Canadian Government allowed the perpetrators of this fatal act of terrorism to get away.
