I’m appalled by the racist comments reportedly shared by Kansas Young Republican leaders. That behavior has no place in leadership and does not reflect the principles we should uphold as Kansas Republicans. We must lead with respect, decency, and a genuine commitment to unity.

Two years ago today, Israel suffered a horrific terrorist attack that claimed nearly 1,200 innocent lives. We remember the victims, pray for their families, and stand with Israel in the face of evil.
On that day, Hamas unleashed the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. Over 1,200 innocent men, women, and children were slaughtered. Families were burned alive, women were raped, children were executed, and hundreds were dragged into Gaza as hostages. These were not acts of war — they were crimes against humanity. And yet, much of the world turned away. Instead of outrage, we saw excuses. Instead of justice, we saw silence. Some even dared to justify the unjustifiable. October 7 is not just an Israeli tragedy — it is a moral test for humanity. If the world ignores such barbarity, it gives license for terror everywhere. We will never forget. We will never allow the truth to be erased. And we will never stop demanding justice for the victims, freedom for the hostages, and accountability for Hamas.

Heartbroken to hear of the loss of Charlie Kirk. This act of violence is devastating and serves as a stark reminder that we must never allow hatred to divide us. My prayers are with Charlie’s loved ones and all impacted by this tragedy.

Today, The Kansas Land and Military Installation Protection Act officially becomes law. Kansas House Republicans led the charge on this long overdue legislation which blocks foreign adversaries such as China, Russia and Iran from buying land near Kansas military sites. #ksleg
