Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Epic Universe all landed in moderate territory by average wait, but the parks got there in very different ways. Open the thread for the park-by-park breakdown.⬇️

Epic Universe had the highest wait average of the Florida group at 33 minutes, but it was actually down from Friday’s 39. That’s interesting: the top three headliners stayed packed, downtime was still heavy, and the full board eased a bit anyway. Mine-Cart Madness averaged 79, Battle at the Ministry averaged 76, and Mario Kart averaged 71. Mario Kart posted the day’s highest Epic peak at 145, with Mine-Cart at 120 and Battle at 115. Reliability is where Epic felt less relaxed than the average suggests. The park logged 6.3 hours of downtime across seven rides. Constellation Carousel led with 150 minutes, followed by Stardust Racers at 65 and Battle at the Ministry at 50. Moderate average, real friction if you were chasing the top of the card.

Universal Studios Hollywood has a cleaner story than the Florida parks on June 13th. Mega Movie Summer opened on a busy Saturday, and the wait board behaved like it. The park averaged 39 minutes, up from 25 on Friday, with Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge leading the day at a 70-minute average. TRANSFORMERS and Jurassic World were right behind it, both sitting around 61. Jurassic World had the bigger spike, peaking at 120 minutes around midday. Mario Kart peaked at 105 later in the afternoon, but it was also the only ride with real downtime, logging 40 minutes total.

Magic Kingdom looked light until the downtime total showed up. EPCOT had two headliners almost tied at the top. Studios stayed Muppets-heavy. Animal Kingdom had the heat, Pandora, and a long Everest outage all pulling at the day. Here’s the park-by-park recap for June 13th.⬇️

Disney California Adventure had the busier feel of the two Anaheim parks, averaging 23 minutes. Guardians and Radiator Springs were basically side by side at the top: 63 minutes for Mission: BREAKOUT, 62 for Radiator Springs Racers. Guardians hit 133 minutes at midnight, which lines up with the late Grad Nite window bleeding into the active park day. During the regular day, the park still had real headliner pressure, but the average stayed moderate. Operations did more damage than the crowd level. Incredicoaster logged 335 minutes of downtime, followed by Golden Zephyr at 120 (not surprising) and Goofy’s Sky School at 105. Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind is still in refurbishment ahead of its June 18 return, so Pixar Pier was already missing a little capacity before Incredicoaster became the bigger problem.

Animal Kingdom moved into Moderate territory today after days of feeling very light. The park waits averaged 26 minutes. Still not a packed day by Disney standards, but it's on the rise. Pandora set the ceiling again. Flight of Passage averaged 62 minutes and hit a 130-minute peak, while Na’vi River Journey averaged 38. The bigger operations story was Expedition Everest. It lost 275 minutes, far ahead of Kali River Rapids at 85 and Gorilla Falls at 80. On a hot day with a nearby 103 heat index, losing those rides and experiences changes the park’s balance fast.

Disneyland looked extremely light on the surface June 13. The park averaged just 14 minutes, and even the top three rides stayed tame: Space Mountain at 41, Rise of the Resistance at 41, and Indiana Jones at 31. The downtime board wasn't so calm. Disneyland logged 20.7 total hours of downtime across 20 rides, with Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin at 200 minutes, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 195, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at 140.
