And if he sells those assets for a profit, then he would be taxed on the proceeds. We don't charge people transactional earnings taxes on the house they currently occupy. Property taxes are enough.
Elon Musk just became the world's first trillionaire. The typical American household would have to work more than 11 MILLION years to make Elon Musk's level of wealth. We need a wealth tax.

No lies detected.
Crows (especially American crows) are highly intelligent and have remarkable abilities to recognize individual human faces, remember negative experiences with specific people for years (up to 17 in some studies), and socially transmit that information to their offspring and other crows, even those who never directly experienced the original incident. Researchers wore distinct masks while trapping and banding a small number of crows (a stressful but non-harmful experience for the birds). The crows quickly learned to associate that specific "dangerous" face with threat and responded by scolding, mobbing, and dive-bombing anyone wearing it. Offspring and other crows picked this up through observation: young birds (fledglings born later) would join in or react independently after seeing their parents' alarm calls and behavior. This "knowledge" spread through the local crow population via social learning, turning a personal grudge into a community warning. [Cornell, H. N., Marzluff, J. M., & Pecoraro, S. (2012). Social learning spreads knowledge about dangerous humans among American crows. Proceedings of the Royal Society B: Biological Sciences, 279(1728), 499–508. DOI: 10.1098/rspb.2011.0957]

I expect when she discovers suburban basketball is sometimes played by boys as "shirts & skins" she may well be overcome by the vapors.

Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but mowing the lawn shirtless in a neighborhood full of families and kids just feels unnecessary 😭 We all share the same space, and a little consideration for the people around you isn’t that hard.

Just had a Belinda Carlisle song pop in my feed. Got curious who wrote it. A guy named Rick Nowels? Huh, let's see if he ever wrote other things... HOLY CRAP! This guy wrote boat loads of great songs for all kinds of artists! He's in the Songwriters Hall of Fame!

I'm so fortunate I got to see this tour. Peabo sounded amazing. I'm saddened for his family that he is gone from this earth. But I know he will be raised to glory. Say a prayer for his family.
I’ve had the best time on my Home for the Holidays Tour!! ā„ļø but it’s now time for a well earned break. I wish you all a Merry ChristmasšŸŽ„

My waiter had dementia and forgot my order. I visited a cafe in Japan that ONLY hires people with Dementia. It's called the Cafe Of Mistaken Orders. Sometimes the servers bring you the wrong food, never bring your order, or sit down and join you instead. But the point of this cafe is to be a place for dementia patients to feel needed and have purpose. And this cafe is working. Japan has discovered that being socially connected actually slows down the progression of dementia. So now there are 8,000 dementia cafes all over Japan! The U.S. should be more like Japan. We should keep elders out of nursing homes, find ways to give them purpose, and part of society until their last days.

GP There's a difference between being true to yourself and being an asshole. Some of y'all might want to look into that. Sometimes I should, too.

Saw MANDALORIAN & GROGU. Enjoyed it. Not great, but fun, goofy, and has a sweetness found nowhere else in Star Wars. John Favreau made a movie that Jim Henson might have made if he were making a Star War. I laughed more than expected.

I knew a cynic who said "Women care about 3 things: Money, dick, & love. IN THAT ORDER!" I won't say he's right, but he's less wrong than Jessica.

Women only want true love, and they don't care about money.
