Spent a lot of time today revisiting the cards, throwing out a whole bunch, restructuring the archetypes and adding new cards. We even came up with a new card type that might solve some issues!
Felt like a lot of progress. Looking forward to trying out the new stuff in gameβ¦

We overhauled the burning mechanic a little this week, made it simpler and more rewarding. And to go along with the change I upgraded the vfx from a static debug sprite to some nice stylized particles...

Last night I saw @NowhereProphet in my steam library, remembering that I picked it up a few weeks back and I stayed up way too late playing it. One of the more interesting deck builder sorta game things and I'm kinda fallin for it π

Good news, everyone!
I've secured some funding for the first stage of a new video game project! It's way too early to talk about much, except maybe that it will be another digital card game!
I'm really excited to get back into the gamedev grind!
