10 things we hate as a publisher:
1. Book benders. You know the sort - they come into a bookshop pick up a book, randomly flick through like it's a flip book - while looking at something else - and then put it down again leaving the cover curling. Hateful!

9. The first delivery of a new title - we know the books is beautiful, we know it's going to be stunning, but we STILL have that moment of terror when the tape is cut on the carton. What do we imagine will be inside? A box of frogs?
10. Nothing about books. We hate nothing at all. We love them. They're beautiful and perfect and we love that feeling of opening a much loved read for the umpteenth time, or setting a new treasure on the shelf for the first time
