The first time I noticed @AdamWeitsman was when he competed in HV-MTL with @Gabrielesm1 and others. It was fun to watch and as far as i know the oswiki discord was a central place, where much of the competition happened (buying/selling votes).
I wasn't really sure who he was, but when he bought the golden key, I realized he was serious.
Shortly after, he funded Otherdex, which was basically a competitor of @oswikixyz. They shut down the platform - I think a year later - because it was hard to maintain, since most of us know it will still take long till Yuga delivers something tangible. I also think their founder lost the motivation for web3 as he got sadly drained...
After that, Adam made a series of legendary Koda purchases and finally announced in the middle of last year that he would be acquiring 5k Otherdeeds from Yuga Labs. He also bought some from Animoca and before he already had 1k from zymerce, so his total holdings are probably over 7k Otherdeeds by now (I assume)
He is a very selfless person and always steps up when he believes the community or someone needs him. I had the pleasure of meeting him at Apefest in Las Vegas; unfortunately, I was only able to talk to him for 5 minutes.
I appreciate all the effort and goodwill he brings to this space; not many have shown the same conviction as he has, without thinking of themselves first.

Just like a Dr. wouldn't call you out of nowhere to tell you that you have cancer.

A Flooring exploit today turned a dust amount of WETH into a near-infinite fpToken balance, allowing the attacker to drain Flooring pools.
This led to a followup opportunist scooping up tokens from the now depleted pools and exchanging them for underlying NFTs.

Weโve just finished a whitehat operation on an exploit discovered in Flooring Protocol.
Now safely in the custody of Yuga Labs:

@0xQuit, our VP of Blockchain recovered the NFTs. Will leave the details for him to go over in a separate thread.
There was an exploit earlier this morning on the same protocol which had left some collections already raided. Huge shout to @coffeedev who found that by tweaking the same exploit, there was an even larger risk to other Flooring collections like BAYC and Cryptopunks.
I quietly instructed our GrailsOTC trading desk to front the money and NFTs to rescue the at-risk assets from the protocol.
We will work together with the protocol devs to return these assets once a solution is sorted. Could mean contract relaunches and token reassurances within that protocol - or more.
But thanks to this move we were able to save dozens of assets from impacting the market and flooring protocol tokens from being compromised.

I have deployed a contract which is our fee receiver, when it gets ape, it automatically sends 50% to us and 50% to the burn address.
Everybody can see in the contract how much ape got burned from our marketplace.
I made the percentage split immutable so i can not change it.

(1) past relationship with lies about the club
(2) receiving an ape from someone who already had dubious intentions to launch an extractive shitcoin
with this post, he's signaling a shift, and that he's ready for a reset and a clean slate

I shared my real experience as a new Bored Ape โ what I love, my ideas, and where I think we can level up.

To be clear: Years ago I publicly supported Pauly and Ryder. I was just a regular guy on here who saw a YouTube video and believed it. I was never on the team, never given anything โ I simply bought the story at the time. I donโt anymore.
When I later saw Paulyโs actions for what they were, I stopped supporting him immediately. I no longer believe any of that, and Iโve grown a ton over the last four years.
I was also tagged in a post with Ben.eth. I fully agree the community shouldโve had a clear alert about him. I donโt support him

Most of the unrest came from people missing the full context or being misinformed by that now-deleted post from Baron (the CM). I pushed hard to get it removed and clear my name.
