This term's debate tackled the question: Is it anti-Semitic to be pro-Palestine? Our teams debated despite depleted numbers (illness) and our audience cast their votes. The audience voted: NO. However, the affirmative team won the debate as they changed the most minds!π’
This week our @CryptYr13 English literature students had the opportunity to visit the birthplace of The Bard in Stratford Upon Avon, as well as to attend a bespoke lecture on their set text, 'Othello'. A fantastic revision and cultural experience! #ToFlourish π
Congratulations to the four students who competed in two teams on Saturday in the southwest regional of the Cambridge Schools debate competition! Out of 4 rounds competing against mostly Y12 students, our Y10 team achieved one win and our Y11 team one second place. #ToFlourish

The Debate Society hosted this term's formal team debate today. The proposition that the coronation of Kind Charles III was worth the cost was REJECTED. Congratulations to the opposition team who won the judges over with their rebuttals! On to the next one!
