#CryptYr8 have completed homework recently on the legacy of slavery - looking at it from a local perspective, but also from a Caribbean/ American/ African perspective as well. Great work 8RR & 8WEH!👍

October 16 - #OnThisDay An attempt to initiate a slave revolt at Harper's Ferry begins. Ultimately the local militiamen and U.S. Marines stopped the raid. Ten of the raiders were killed during the raid, seven were tried and executed afterwards, and five escaped.

Last week 2 year 12s were given the incredible opportunity to visit Auschwitz, thanks to the #LessonsfromAuschwitz project. They found it a strange cocktail of emotions, and will be relaying their experiences to other Crypt School students next term.
