If there's one thing I love about vtubers and vtubing, it's our ability to fully immerse ourselves in an aesthetic. Finding ways to bring nostalgia to life via the visual medium can be difficult, especially when so much of it is based on our own distant recollections.
It's fully worth praising when someone can replicate those memories and bring you into their world. I never owned a Dreamcast but somehow this feels nostalgic, right?
I really want to see more vtubers go fully in on replicating aesthetics from past eras. It's the sort of whimsy I think a lot of us need right now.
Good job, Burner!
