Summary of our first game: We were pretty good in a 4-3-3, but we should ditch this formation if we want to win against the biggest teams. Japan has a solid team, but we were definitely better apart from the last 20 minutes where Koeman invited Japan to pressure us with lame substitutes. Looks like we don't have enough depth in our squad. Van Dijk showed why he is world class and deserved thr MOTM award. Arguably one of his best performances in an Oranje shirt in at least recent memory. Summerville and Gakpo were a real thread to Japan. Also, shoutout to Gravenbergh for a good performance, but he gave away to much space for Japan's first goal. We have to play 3-5-2 (again) during the knock out stages. We most likely won't be winning this World Cup. Again.

2-2 is not a bad result, but we're not going to become World Champions. We miss depth in our squad. Koeman finally dismantled a tactic and then ruined it with the substitutions. Can't really blame him as the substitutes just ain't good enough
