The origin of “HODL” was pure chaos 😂
On Dec 18, 2013, a BitcoinTalk user (“GameKyuubi”) posted during a market crash, admitting they were drunk, frustrated, and done trying to trade the dips.
They meant to type “HOLD”… but wrote “HODL” instead.
That typo became a legend.
Now it’s a full-blown crypto mindset:
Don’t trade it. Don’t panic. Just HODL. 🟠🚀

🇿🇦 South Africa’s High Court has ruled that Bitcoin qualifies as both “money” and “capital” under exchange control laws.
This means moving crypto to offshore exchanges without SARB approval could be treated as an illegal export of capital.
The ruling also creates a legal clash with a 2025 judgment, making a Supreme Court appeal likely.
The ruling has significant implications for South African crypto users and businesses moving digital assets offshore.
