You were a good man @Farmnvol . You reached out when I really needed a friend in a tough time in my life . I always enjoyed harvesting plots with you guys. Go rest high.
My Golden retriever died this afternoon. Her and my Lab were best friends. Slept right next to each other every night.Tonight she lies down right next to the spot where her buddy laid. Dogs are way smarter than we give them credit , they grieve just like us.
Calving season started for us tonight. Momma was up the thicket this afternoon so I knew it was coming. Pushed her to the barn with rain coming. Glad bro in law was home to assist while I had to be at the ball field.
I drive a 18 Silverado 1/2 ton. 162k on the dash. No heavy hauling other than a side by side. 75% highway. I'm in sales, big territory . 2 top end rebuild 3 transmissions. FACTORY front brakes still. How do the damn brakes last longer than anything else.
Not many things are more relaxing than listening to a rain that the crops and pasture need desperately while having a drink at the end of the day. Hopefully this helps out the D3 situation we have.
I have been a Rec coach for 12 yrs. Every sport you can name.Been on league boards and even ran leagues. Nothing I tell you nothing is as intense as 8U softball. Can someone please tell me why. I feel like my old ass played after a game lol
Didn't get the W but I'm proud I get to coach my little girl and her teammates. Youth coaches if you don't pray with your team ,You should start. Often times we are the only positive influence kids have. Kids remember their coaches. Be a good influence.
Please pray for a good friend of mine. SXS wreck yesterday on the farm rolled over on him. Surgery to repair severely broken leg and damage to veins in his leg.
Update surgery was successful. They were able to repair the artery and fix the break in his leg. Could have been way worse than it was but still ain't good. Keep sending prayers.
