Great to run into one of our Peace Officer teams while out for a walk on Stephen Ave. Our Council team is united in our focus on public safety. The 2026 budget invests $94M in downtown safety, safer transit and CTrain coverage during evening rush hour, stronger 9-1-1 operations, and support for CPS to hire officers, replace aging vehicles, and upgrade facilities.
