Our Food and Nutrition teacher approached exam review in an innovative and engaging way - she took her students outside - as she read the review questions whoever called out the correct answer, had the ball thrown to them - simultaneously remembering and having fun!

Our CTE students had a great time learning via the "hands-on way" at Gaston College - experienced a physics lesson and a "painting with DNA" lesson. So fun!

Introducing Eli Johnson, CNA and Intern at Courtland Terrace! Eli earned his Certified Nursing Assistant credential as a Junior and has been working in this capacity ever since. Hats off to Eli as he prepares for graduation and a long future in healthcare!

Veggie Quesadillas anyone? Our Foods I students learned how to cut/chop vegetables and also are learning about nutrition - they put both of these together in the lab and made Veggie Quesadillas! Fun, tasty and hands-on learning in CTE!! #CTEMonth

Our Interior Design teacher is Mrs. Farrar. She graduated with a degree in Family and Consumer Science, has been teaching for 5 years and is a natural in the classroom. Her students gravitate toward her! She's married with 2 small kids, loves to garden, cook and read!#CTEMonth
