North Gaston's automotive and carpentry classes got to visit the CTE Career Center to get hands on learning simulations on driving a dump truck, welding, painting and virtual reality head sets.

This is North Gaston’s first time hosting Lincolnton branch of the YMCA for a Lunch and Learn experience for our students. Lots of great summer opportunities!

Hunter Broome, Marcus Turner, and Charles Eason were selected to represent North Gaston at the Greater Charlotte Auto Dealer Competition in late March. Students are practicing using scan tools to diagnose electrical issues at Nissan of Gastonia. Good luck gentlemen.

Peyton Wilson secured an internship at J&L Machine and Fabrication in Stanley, NC. Peyton wants to be a welder after graduation. He is gaining lots of experience in metal working at J&L.

Today's North Gaston spotlight is on an amazing intern working at the Agriculture Center Fire Department, Elijah Herron. In the pictures shown he is participating in long and short haul rope rescue operations and live fire training.
