So a lot of people are wondering what I'm doing and where I've been. I wanna first start off by letting everyone know, no, I'm not done with content. THIS A BIG POST I did content for 15-ish years. That's almost half of my entire life at this point. I genuinely needed to slow down, get other things done, and do all the "life stuff" I was neglecting. This includes things like getting a degree, sorting out family illnesses and loss, and genuinely trying to further myself IRL. I've also gotten involved in some pretty substantial projects with businesses that I cannot talk about due to NDA's and other things. As much as content creation is awesome and fun; it's not something that, to me, could carry me through the rest of my life. It's unrealistic to assume that I'd be "comfortable" at 40-50 years old money/life wise if that's all I did. I'm coming back to streaming but there's gonna be a few big changes to my branding/vibe/etc. Same Del, different look. It's gonna happen this year. The entire focus is gonna be around friends, community, and enjoying myself. It's gonna be 99% positive vibes. There will be no more game reviews, negativity, or bad junk. I apologize if I haven't reached out to all my content creator friends and people who support me! It's really difficult to keep track and the world's kinda been crazy the last two years. I've been keeping my head down and preparing. I've genuinely done like 5-6 years of work, prep, and college in <2, so I've been SLAMMED. It's definitely hurt my social life and visibility but that's okay! It needed to be done. I know a lot of you are excited to get back to hanging out, vibing, playing, gaming, and watching; and I am too! It's just gonna take a little bit longer but I promise it'll be worth it. I'm doing everything in the most responsible, well structured, and safest way I can. Gotta make sure my future is locked in before I can focus on content once more. Doing the Renegades campaign in Destiny 2 makes me so mad I.. I think I hate Starwars now? Like... I am so tired of it. I think I genuinely, truly, dislike modern Starwars. Everything it touches is so.. uninspired. I wanna continue but I also want to walk into traffic so🙃

I think what @Sony is struggling to understand with #Destiny2 is that most of us didn't want to stop playing. We stopped playing because the people in charge at Bungie were making horrible decisions and (in my opinion) intentionally sabotaging the game. After seeing how much was planned, how much was denied, how many things were done that leadership outright threw out/refused... it feels on purpose. It feels like after the sale the leadership just didn't give a single shit and were just waiting for their deal to mature so they could get the bonus and leave. If the game had been good it would've maintained 100k players constantly. Looking back, again, it feels like it was sabotaged by a few spiteful individuals in charge. Hopefully they see this as a "Oh, maybe we should continue SOME development" or "Hey, D3 makes sense" Everyone needs to keep being loud on socials. Keep telling Sony/Playstation directly that they were lied to, it was bullshit, and the game's worth keeping. Let them know the leadership lied, inflated numbers, and then sabotaged the game by not caring. Maybe it'll do some good.

I 100% agree with this. It's so wrong what got done to the developers and writers working on the game. Also knowing they essentially wasted 5 months of their time by not being told after the decision was made.. oof. This is justified anger, absolutely

Yo - Anyone know the fastest way to get caught up gear wise in Destiny 2 for the final update? Got no tiered gear, nada. Would love to save a bunch of time on efficiency and get to T5 drops so I can just chill and vibe @ level. What's the best way post patch?

I have such weird feelings about the final Destiny 2 content patch. I wanna go back and support it but also it's like bringing a friend back from the dead knowing they're just gonna die again. The content/update itself looks incredible but my brain's still struggling with the "is it worth my 100 hours for something that's going away" I'll hop on for sure on the server slam but I'm not sure how much more I wanna put in. It's bittersweet as hell. Hopefully there's enough support it sways some people. The lore guys are having it real rough though. "Oh yeah everything's better now, the end" Like okay cool thanks for everything.. oof. I feel for em. I think they care about the universe far more than most people. Whatcha all think?

Part of me is excited but the other part of me is like "uuuuugh" when I look at the tiered gear grind in Destiny 2 I haven't played frequently since Final Shape. I really hate the concept of tiered gear. Never liked it in any game when it's same gear 1 Hopefully they make it WAY easier than it was last time I popped in. I saw the mountain of pointless numbers and was like naaaaaaaah Excited to see everyone back however

The silly Bungie civil war stuff is pretty wild TO BE FAIR: getting loud enough and disapproving makes companies 180 all the time. Sony has caved before. I'm on #TeamAztecross - Sure there's only a small chance but it's bigger than nothing if we do/say nothing about it. This is about the loss of a third space and something that so many peoples' lives were shaped around. Both sides have the right to be upset but there's a clear difference in volume on one side due to sheer numbers If it really does come down to one or the other, Destiny for me all day every day. Seeing everything that was blocked because of awful leadership (WHO HAVE LEFT) has only made me want it to stay around more. Entire chunks of expansions cut because of petty reasons/no reason. Seemed spite driven. This update coming out proves they got it still

"Hey guys yeah ignore the entire directory or like, any of the ways we show channels in game lists and stuff. Only discover!!!" Make embedding only available with licenses & agreements. Holy crap man, Twitch proved they can purge bots and delete accounts like crazy when they did the purge a year or so back. Big streamers lost like 20k viewers. IT WORKED Sucks you lost like 50% of your total viewer base from start to finish and stopped enforcing it but quit with this "OH WE CARE" shit when you clearly have a solution you're not wanting to do. Wish they'd be honest and just admit they don't actually give a shit or they'd keep doing what they PROVED THEY CAN DO ALREADY

I don't think people genuinely realize how bad/fucked up the game dev space is for developers. In almost all cases major messups are publishers/marketing/legal decisions disconnected. Massive profits and success? MASS LAYOFFS. YOU GET FIRED DOIN' WELL. Loss? Massive loss? MASS LAYOFFS. FIRED FOR BAD. They're fucked (in most companies) regardless of what happens. It's so evil and awful and genuinely mind blowing as far as what's tolerated and just accepted as "normal" in this industry. In a lot of other industries/countries this stuff is highly regarded as, you know, illegal and morally backwards.

I really stand by a lot of the bigger content creators telling people who are like "but marathon is getting a pve mode" to fuck off The community will support Marathon WAY LESS because of the Destiny stuff going forward. I will never play it again. Ever. Period. Nope. They're literally trying to hamfist PVE stuff into Marathon because they realized that's what people like... INSTEAD OF SUPPORTING THE THING THAT PEOPLE LIKED TO BEGIN WITH DUUUUUUUUUMB
