I am a big fan of @StylistMagazine but it’s really counter intuitive that the art referencing nudes they featured in their ‘A Dress For Everybody’ issue are all by dead white male artists and of white models with a particular body type.

@StylistMagazine So many female artists that could have been referenced here Frida Khalo, Jenny Saville, Somya Critchlow, Alice Neel, Mickalene Thomas, Tracey Emin…I could go on.

The level of unconscious bias I experience every time my child has an appointment with a Dr from the paediatrics/children’s services team @NHSBrent is actually astounding…and don’t get me started on the patronising manner they speak to me in.

@NHSBrent is charged with providing healthcare services for one of the most diverse London boroughs yet I know for A FACT that if I was white and my child was not mixed race they would never speak to me in such a manner.

@NHSBrent Every Dr that works on your children’s services team needs to undergo unconscious bias training because the behaviour I have continuously experienced when seeking medical support for my child is unacceptable.

Imagine this everyday life scene @artukdotorg #OnlineArtExchange: it's raining, you just left work and for some reason (clocks) it's been pitch-black since 4pm. You can't wait for a lovely cuppa at home – except you don't have teabags 😱
The unsung hero? The trusted corner shop!
